From 18 August to 18 September 2026, guests at Sana Sini Restaurant at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin can enjoy a special collaboration with The People’s Café, one of the restaurant brands under ISMAYA Group.

For one month, Rempah Raya, one of Sana Sini’s five Destination Dining areas, is serving three signature dishes inspired by familiar Indonesian comfort food.

The collaboration brings Nasi Bejek Sei Sapi, Nasi Bejek Iga Bakar, and Nasi Sate Kelapa to the restaurant, giving diners another reason to explore the Indonesian section of Sana Sini’s dining experience.

The menu features dishes that are designed to be enjoyed in a relaxed and interactive way.

As the name suggests, bejek means to mash or mix everything together before eating. It is a familiar part of the experience at The People’s Café, where diners can combine the rice, sambal, vegetables and protein on their plates to create their preferred mix of flavours.

Nasi Bejek Sei Sapi

The Nasi Bejek dishes come with a variety of ingredients, including rice, fried jukut or crispy greens, and fresh pomelo sambal. Guests can then choose between smoked beef sei or grilled ribs.

One of the highlights is Nasi Bejek Iga Bakar. The dish includes rice with red sambal, crispy tempeh, fried aubergine, fried jukut and fresh pomelo sambal. It is served alongside smoky, sweet grilled ribs.

The menu description puts it simply: “Mash it all up (bejek-bejek) for an even more fun experience!”

Meanwhile, Nasi Bejek Sei Sapi features the distinctive flavour of smoked beef sei. The dish is served with the same playful bejek concept and is accompanied by a telur barendo, a fried egg known for its crispy, lacy edges.

Completing the trio is Sate Kelapa, a coconut satay topped with serundeng, or spiced grated coconut. It offers a slightly different take on the traditional satay experience while remaining firmly rooted in Indonesian flavours.

Five Culinary Choices Under One Roof

The special collaboration is part of Sana Sini’s wider Destination Dining concept, which allows guests to explore different cuisines in one restaurant.

The concept is divided into five culinary areas: Rempah Raya, Ember & Vine, Nami & Nori, Imperial Steam and The Sugar Lab.

Rempah Raya focuses on Indonesian cuisine inspired by the country’s diverse culinary heritage, with dishes that highlight regional flavours, spices and traditional seasonings. During the collaboration period, the three dishes from The People’s Café join this Indonesian selection and are prepared fresh to order.

As the restaurant puts it, “Simply choose your desired destination, and the dishes will be served fresh to your table, prepared à la minute.”

For those looking beyond Indonesian food, Ember & Vine offers meat and seafood prepared using live-fire cooking techniques. Nami & Nori takes diners in a Japanese direction with made-to-order sushi, sashimi, robatayaki and tempura.

Imperial Steam focuses on Chinese favourites, including dim sum, roasted meats, wok-tossed dishes and soups. Meanwhile, The Sugar Lab provides the sweet ending, with a selection of gelato, pastries, cakes and seasonal desserts.

The idea is straightforward: “Choose one or explore all five areas.”

Dinner at Sana Sini under the Destination Dining concept starts from IDR 350,000++ per person. Guests can select one culinary destination or pay an additional IDR 250,000 to access all five culinary areas. À la carte options are also available.

The Sana Sini × The People’s Café collaboration runs until 18 September 2026 at Rempah Raya, offering diners the chance to enjoy a few familiar favourites from The People’s Café alongside Sana Sini’s wider selection of Indonesian and international dishes.
