Eden Green Spa therapist named Zamzami Aulani Malik was detained by the Denpasar Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim). The 26-year-old man spa therapist was detained for molesting an underage girl from Australia with the initials SRC while giving a massage.

“The victim herself is a tourist with the initials SRC, a 15-year-old girl,” said Bambang Yugo Pamungkas, Denpasar Commissioner, during a press conference at his office on Monday, the 5th of June 2023.

Bambang explained that the sexual abuse case occurred at Eden Green Spa, which is located at Werkudara Street Number 533, Banjar Legian Kaja, Legian Village, Kuta District, Badung Regency. The sexual abuse occurred on Wednesday, 31st of May 2023, at around 11.30 WITA.

Bambang said the victim and his family originally came to Eden Green Spa. At that time, the victim chose a therapy package that lasted one hour and 40 minutes. The victim also took a prone and supine position while undergoing treatment.

During that treatment, Zamzami sexually assaulted the Australian ABG. Receiving this treatment, the victim cried and was afraid. He then asked to end the treatment and told the incident to his aunt.

The next day, the victim reported the abuse to the Denpasar Police. The police then arrested Zamzami, who lives in Legian Village, Kuta District, Badung Regency.

“The perpetrators of lust see the victim naked and wearing only underwear so that the person concerned spontaneously has a desire that cannot be contained,” explained Bambang.

Now, Zamzami is subjected to criminal acts of obscenity against minors. He was charged with Article 76 letter e juncto Article 82 of Law (UU) Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a penalty of 15 years in prison and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.

Previously, the owner of Eden Green Spa, Ni Wayan LR, was reluctant to comment much on the alleged obscenity committed by his therapist. According to him, the incident is not particular the truth.

He said that when the incident occurred, all employees at the spa were busy. Thus, there were no witnesses who saw the act of abuse first-hand. He admits that he is still checking on the therapist in question.

He also objected because the spa’s location was said to be a place of sexual immorality. However, currently, the spa is still operating. “The spa is still open as usual,” he stressed when confirming it to the reporters.
