Bali Zoo, located in the Gianyar Regency, is one of the most popular zoos on the island. More than 450 animals, including the Bengal Tiger, Bornean Orangutan, and Sumatran Elephant, are housed at the zoo. Taman Safari Indonesia III, or Bali Safari and Marine Park, is a branch of Taman Safari located in Gianyar, Bali.  The park is 40 hectares in size and is home to over 100 different animal species, including tigers, lions, elephants, and rhinos. The park’s animal exhibits can be toured on a safari by guests, who can also get up close and personal with some of the animals.

The fundamental idea behind Bali Safari and Marine Park is to invite tourists to take part in a safari experience that starts in contemporary Bali and moves into ancient Balinese life, complete with various philosophical teachings, myths, and histories that are strongly connected to wildlife. 

In addition to providing animal tourism, the park has a strong educational and cultural vision. There, visitors can interact with trained animals, feed animals, and watch animal shows (animal education and conservation shows) without feeling uncomfortable.

Kemenuh Butterfly Park

Kemenuh Butterfly Park is a one-of-a-kind attraction in Bali’s Gianyar Regency. Over 500 different butterfly species, including the well-known Balinese butterfly, can be found in the park, which is more than 1,000 square metres in size. The entire butterfly life cycle—from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly—can be seen by visitors, who can even participate in feeding the butterflies.

Along with the butterfly exhibits, Kemenuh Butterfly Park also features a lovely garden with a wide range of flowers and plants. The park is committed to maintaining the natural environment and informing visitors about the value of butterfly conservation.

Bali Bird Park is a popular attraction in Bali’s Gianyar Regency. The park is 2 hectares in size and home to over 1,000 bird species from around the world, including the endangered Bali Starling. Visitors can get up close and personal with the birds and even participate in feeding sessions.
