Coldplay Concert in Jakarta 2023: Rumors and Details

The rumours that Coldplay will perform in Jakarta are spreading like wildfire. It’s conceivable, according to many people. This has increased public interest in whether Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and creative director Phil Harvey will make their first trips to Jakarta.

After Fotokonser shared a picture on Instagram Stories, the debate over Coldplay performing in Indonesia has gained further traction. The upload makes it seem like GBK has already been scheduled for shows in August and October 2023.

Meanwhile, rumours say the Coldplay concert will stop in Jakarta at the end of 2023. Quoting the official GBK website, the venue status for 13 days on 5th-17th of November 2023 is indeed in a “booked schedule” condition or has been ordered. If the rumour about the concert is true, Coldplay will hold a show around the 5th to 17th of November, 2023.

On the official website, Coldplay’s upcoming concerts in Jakarta are not listed in the 2023 tour list. However, the public is positive that Coldplay will stop by the capital of Indonesia in November. The closest show will be in May 2023, when they will hold their concert in Coimbra, Portugal (17th-21st of May) and Barcelona, ​​Spain (24th-28th of May).

Coldplay then head to Manchester, Cardiff, Naples and Milan for the June schedule. Then, several other European cities, such as Zurich, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, and Amsterdam, will be the following destinations for July 2023. Coldplay toured several cities in the US and Canada in September, namely Seattle, Vancouver, San Diego, and Los Angeles. In the agenda, the singer of the song Fix You will undergo a series of final concerts on the 1st of October, 2023, at the Rose Bowl, Los Angeles.

The band, founded by Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, stopped in Singapore in 2017 on A Head Full Of Dreams Tour.

At that time, standing tickets for Coldplay concert were sold from IDR 1.2 million to IDR 2.1 million. In contrast, seated tickets are priced between IDR 700 thousand to IDR 2.5 million. Apart from that, there are also VIP category tickets with a nominal price of IDR 2.8 million and official merchandise.
