September 11, 2024, was the first day of Bruno Mars’ concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. The concert that many people have been waiting for was successfully held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).

Bruno Mars performed energetically by performing more than 18 songs for almost two hours. He performed some of his hit songs, such as “Treasure”, “Finesse”, “Leave Open the Door”, “It Will Rain”, “Just The Way You Are”, “Uptown Funk”, and many more. During the performance of ‘Calling All My Lovelies ‘, Bruno Mars did something intriguing. He seemed to be calling out to a woman, but what caught everyone’s attention was his use of Indonesian. In a unique cultural exchange, he expressed his longing for the local language, which was a delightful surprise for the audience.

As Bruno Mars pretended to call out to someone, he uttered the words, ‘Aku kangen kamu sayang.’ The audience, caught off guard by his use of Indonesian, responded with boisterous shouts, creating a moment of shared excitement and engagement.

Another highlight of the concert was when the song ‘Billionaire’ was performed. The audience erupted into laughter and cheers when one of Bruno Mars’ backing singers, Philip Lawrence, delivered a portion of the lyrics in Indonesian, adding a fun and unexpected twist to the performance.

“Aku mau duit, duit banyak,” said Philip Lawrence on stage.

During the concert, Bruno Mars performed approximately 23 songs, some of which were performed in medley. His latest song with Lady Gaga, Die With A Smile, was also performed at the concert. The song was performed by Bruno with piano accompaniment.

With the memories of the first day still fresh, the audience eagerly anticipates his upcoming performances on September 13 and 14. The excitement is palpable, and everyone is looking forward to more unforgettable moments.
