ART SG will return on 23–25 January 2026 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Now in its fourth edition, this international art fair returns with an expanded format.

Notably, for the first time, ART SG will feature S.E.A. Focus as part of its main programme. The result? 106 galleries from over 30 countries and regions will be exhibiting.

This year, visitors can enjoy a blend of Southeast Asian contemporary art and global perspectives in one curated arena.

S.E.A. Focus brings a new theme, The Humane Agency. The theme highlights Southeast Asian art practices and the role of artists as agents of empathy and social reflection.

This collaboration is certainly interesting because the exhibition is located in Singapore, which is part of the Southeast Asian region, and will open a relevant dialogue about the development of art in the region.

In addition, it is more relevant for galleries and visitors who want to understand the Southeast Asian art landscape more comprehensively.

Participating galleries include Richard Koh Fine Art (Singapore, Bangkok), Silverlens (Manila, New York); AC43 Gallery (Singapore); The Drawing Room (Manila); ISA ArtGallery (Jakarta); ShanghART Gallery (Shanghai, Singapore, Beijing); STPI (Singapore); ara contemporary (Jakarta); Mr. Lim’s Shop of Visual Treasures (Singapore); Gallery VER (Bangkok); neugerriemschneider (Berlin); Artinformal (Manila); Intersections (Singapore); Gajah Gallery (Singapore, Jakarta, Manila); Mizuma Gallery (Singapore, Tokyo); Wetterling Teo Gallery (Singapore) amongst others, with presentations by artists Tang Da Wu, Arahmaiani and Nicole Coson.

Also, a significant event this time around is the launch of the ART SG FUTURES Prize. Presented by UBS and aimed at emerging artists in the FUTURES sector.

This award shows support for the younger generation who are increasingly active in the Asia Pacific contemporary art scene. UBS will also display works from its collection. The UBS Art Collection will present Indonesian performance artist Melati Suryodarmo’s I Love You (2007) at the UBS Art Studio on Level 1 of the fair.

Jin Yee Young, Co-Head UBS Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific and Country Head UBS Singapore, said, “We are proud to support ART SG 2026 as Founding and Lead Partner. The recently published Art Basel and UBS Survey of Global Collecting by Arts Economics highlights key motivations in Asian collecting. Among respondents in Singapore, there is a strong interest in emerging talent, especially among female collectors.”

In addition, the SAM ART SG Fund programme returns for its second year. This initiative, in collaboration with the Singapore Art Museum, supports the acquisition of works by ART SG artists for the museum’s collection, with a focus on Southeast Asian perspectives in international contemporary art.

In the 2026 edition, ART SG also introduced the Performing Arts sector through a curatorial collaboration with the Rockbund Art Museum (RAM), Shanghai. X-Zhu Nowell, Executive Director and Chief Curator of RAM, served as the Film and Performing Arts Curator for ART SG.

This collaboration presented Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait, the latest version of the immersive exhibition format that previously took place in Shanghai.

This year marks the concept’s debut outside of China and its first-ever presentation in a heritage-listed hotel space in Singapore.
