Jomblang Cave is listed as one of Indonesia’s must-visit tourist destinations. This attraction is located in Yogyakarta, Central Java.

Jomblang Cave is also called Vertical Cave. The name is appropriate because entering this cave requires extreme access, namely, using a rope to reach the bottom of the cave.

This vertical shape was formed due to geological processes that occurred thousands of years ago.

For those who seek adventure and thrive on new challenges, Jomblang Cave is a perfect fit. Its adrenaline-pumping terrain promises an experience like no other, ready to be conquered.

This attraction is unique from other attractions in Yogyakarta. You will not be charged an entrance fee if you want to explore Jomblang Cave with your own equipment.

Located approximately 50 kilometers from the city center of Yogyakarta, Jomblang Cave is easily accessible by vehicle, with a journey time of about 90 minutes. This convenience ensures a smooth and enjoyable visit.

Jomblang Cave is open every day from 08.00 to 14.00 WIB. You can come anytime, but make sure to visit during sunny weather and avoid the rainy season.

Morning is a fresh and ideal time to visit. You can come around 10 or 12 o’clock when the sun is shining brightly. Upon arriving inside the cave, you will be able to see the dazzling natural light.
