The idea of forming the Jakarta Fair was first sparked by Haji Syamsudin Mangan, who at that time served as Chairman of Kadin (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). In 1967, Haji Mangan proposed to DKI Jakarta Governor Ali Sadikin to create a large exhibition that presented domestic products.
A year after its opening, Pekan Raya Jakarta broke the record as the longest-running exhibition with 71 days of events. That year, the President of the United States, Richard Nixon, also visited the 1969 Jakarta Fair.
Since then, the Jakarta Fair has been an annual event. This year marks the 54th edition of the largest, longest, and most comprehensive exhibition in Southeast Asia.
As Southeast Asia’s bigest exhibition and entertainment arena, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, or PRJ 2024, presents a new nuance with more exciting events than in previous years. This event is also expected to be the community’s leading shopping and vacation destination.
This year the event will be held for 33 days. It will start on June 12 and end on July 14, 2024.

Jakarta Fair 2024 tickets are available in four types, with prices ranging from Rp 40,000 to Rp 450,000. Tickets can be purchased online at Loket.com.
The tickets do not need to be printed. Visitors to the Jakarta Fair simply save the ticket in the pdf version.
Here are dos and donts when visiting Jakarta Fair
- An Entrance Ticket (Without Concert) is valid only for entering the Jakarta Fair area. It cannot be used to enter the concert area.
- The Bundled Entry Ticket + REG Concert is a ticket valid for entry into the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2024 area and the Regular concert area.
- A Bundle Entry Ticket + VIP Concert ticket is valid for entering the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2024 and VIP concert areas.
- A Package Ticket (VIP and REG) is valid for entry into the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2024 area and the concert area on all specified dates.
- The ticket is only valid for one person and 1x entry according to the date printed on the ticket.
- Tickets that have been purchased cannot be returned.
