Italian cuisine remains widely appreciated, and Pellegrini’s introduces a new setting to experience Italian coffee and culinary culture in Jakarta.
Located on the first floor of Plaza Indonesia, the restaurant presents a spacious layout with both indoor and semi-outdoor seating.
Developed by Artisan Kuliner Group, Pellegrini is designed as more than a place to dine. The name is derived from the Italian word for “travellers”, reflecting its concept as a culinary destination inspired by Italian traditions.
The space draws on a classic Italian sensibility, encouraging guests to spend time over food, coffee, and conversation.
Inside, the atmosphere feels open and considered. A key feature is the Victoria Arduino Venus Bar Vertical espresso machine, which anchors the coffee bar and reflects the heritage of Italian café culture.

The setting supports a range of occasions, from morning coffee to informal meetings and afternoon breaks. The restaurant is open daily from 8:00 to 22:00.
Italian coffee and pastry traditions
Italy’s culinary identity is shaped by simple ingredients and established recipes. Alongside well-known dishes such as pizza and pasta, coffee plays a central role in daily life. Drinking espresso is a routine that often marks the start of the day or follows a meal. It is brief, social, and part of everyday rhythm.
Pellegrini brings this approach to Jakarta through its coffee offering. Using a traditional espresso machine, the café serves a range of drinks prepared with attention to balance and consistency. Options include Caffè Noccioberry, Caffè Nocciola, and Crema di Caffè, a chilled coffee drink with a smooth texture.

The coffee selection is paired with Italian pastries prepared fresh each day. Choices include cannoli, sfogliatelle, and maritozzi. These pastries complement the coffee menu and reflect regional Italian baking traditions. Together, they create a straightforward yet complete café experience that centres on flavour and routine.
A menu built on familiar Italian dishes
The food menu focuses on well-known Italian dishes, presented with a balanced approach. Starters include burrata, salmon carpaccio, and whipped ricotta with honey. These dishes highlight simple preparation and quality ingredients.
For mains, the restaurant offers a selection of pasta and meat dishes. Signature options include baked mezze alla vodka with burrata and truffle mafaldine. There are also main courses such as barramundi and picanha, served with red wine sauce.

Pizza remains a central part of the menu. Prepared in-house, it offers a range of flavours suited to different preferences. The restaurant also continues its pastry selection throughout the day, allowing guests to pair light bites with coffee at any time.
Desserts include tiramisu and baked vanilla latte, providing a consistent finish to the meal. The menu is designed to suit both casual visits and longer dining occasions.
Pellegrini’s positions itself as a social space rather than a formal dining venue. It invites guests to pause, meet, and enjoy familiar Italian flavours in a relaxed setting.
