For those with an income below IDR 54 million annually, the tax reporting form used is the SPT (Tax Return) 1770. Here’s a step-by-step guide to follow:

  • Visit the DJP (Directorate General of Taxes) website at djponline.pajak.go.id.
  • Input your Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), account password, and security code (Captcha).
  • After a successful login, choose the “Report” menu and opt for the “e-Filing” service.
  • Complete various details in Section A, including the tax year, tax return status, and content correction status.
  • Add information in Section B, such as lottery prizes, if you have additional income.
  • Proceed to Section C to detail your assets and liabilities, such as home furnishings, electronics, personal vehicles, and precious metals.
  • Fill in Section D and confirm by clicking the agree button.
  • Obtain an SPT (tax return) verification code and an acknowledgement of filing will be automatically sent to your email.

Meanwhile, if your income exceeds IDR 54 million annually, the utilized tax form is 1770 S. Here’s a step-by-step guide for tax reporting:

  • Visit the official DJP website, djponline.pajak.go.id.
  • Enter your Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), password, and the captcha code displayed.
  • Choose the “Report” menu and access the “e-Filing” service.
  • Select “Create SPT” and follow the provided instructions, ensuring you choose the SPT 1770 S form type.
  • Fill in personal details on the form, including the tax year and SPT status.
  • Attach documents verifying tax deductions, if applicable.
  • Enter data concerning tax withholdings and the corresponding deduction amounts.
  • Input your net income from work.
  • Provide a list of owned assets and debts.
  • Record any dependents you have, if applicable.
  • Enter the Payment for Income Tax Article 25 and Principal Income Tax Return Article 25, if applicable.
  • Review the Income Tax (PPh) calculation.
