The Canggu and Uluwatu areas have a myriad of must-visit tourist destinations. Still, traffic jams in Bali are getting worse, making many tourists run out of time on trips and unable to visit many places in Canggu and Uluwatu. However, a new transportation alternative GoBoat now connects the two popular tourist destinations in Bali. 

The new transportation uses an outrigger boat or also known as a jukung. Boat transportation services from Canggu to Uluwatu and vice versa are provided by the company, GoBoat.id.

According to the official website, tourists only need about 40 minutes to travel from Canggu to Uluwatu, and vice versa using GoBoat. The trip is much shorter than the land route, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, not to mention the possibility that tourists will get stuck in traffic.

“How long is the journey? Depending on weather conditions, it is approximately 40 minutes from Canggu to Uluwatu,” said the information from the GoBoat.id website, quoted by Social Expat, on Sunday, 13th of August 2023.

GoBoat.id serves sea travel routes from Canggu to Uluwatu and vice versa. According to the official website, the arrival and departure point in the Canggu area is via Nelayan Beach. Meanwhile, the arrival and departure point at Uluwatu is via Padang Padang Beach.

GoBoat.id ticket prices

If you are interested in taking GoBoat.id when you go to Bali, the following is the price for a boat ticket from Canggu to Uluwatu.

Quoting from the official website, a trip from Canggu to Uluwatu by GoBoat costs IDR 220,000 per person for one trip. Similarly, a trip from Uluwatu to Canggu costs IDR 220,000 per person for one trip. Ticket prices apply to both children and adults. For passengers arriving at Padang Padang Beach, passengers must pay an entrance ticket to the Padang Padang Beach area of IDR 15,000 per person.
