Four Cities in Indonesia Hosting Poland Festival 2022

19th October 2022 – Poland Festival 2022 will be held in four cities in Indonesia, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Sanur from 17th October 2022 to 6th November 2022.

The event goal is to achieve a well-maintained cooperation between the Foreign Trade Office in Jakarta, the Polish Trade with the Polish Embassy in Jakarta, the Polish Business Club, and the Polish Tourism Organization.

The Head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Jacek Kolomyjec, said that Poland is one of the largest countries in Central Europe. There have a lot to offer in many aspects, including Indonesia, as one of the leaders in Southeast Asia, with great potential in trading and investing.

The Poland Festival 2022 is held to celebrate Polish culture, which features 18 FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods industries). These industries include food, beverage, and cosmetics products that are available in 10 participating supermarkets. Grand Lucky and Hokky are two of many supermarkets that will be participating in the event.

Additionally, the festival will showcase the latest developments from technology and rail industry companies focusing on green energy and hydrogen. There will be exhibitions featuring batik, design, photography, games, quizzes, prizes, Poland flash courses, food tasting, and various promotions.

The Strategic Industry Manager for the Polish Trade and Investment Agency, Grzegorz Galcynski, said that the Polish railway industry has a long history with its first rail built in 1842.

With 150 years of experience, Grzegorz said that they are happy to share the knowledge with Indonesia.

Poland will share the knowledge and technology with local partners, as well as updating their progress in the evolution of railways, namely the hydrogen revolution that the country is currently going through.

The Polish Contemporary Textile and Batik Art Exhibition will mark the start of Poland Festival 2022 at the National Museum of Indonesia in Central Jakarta starting from 3rd October for one full month.

The Poland Festival 2022 has been recorded with more than 168,000 visitors. This is based on sales data from participating stores and importers with sales growth recorded between 70 percent and 400 percent in the week of November compared to the previous best month.
