Lombok Ranks 5th of World’s Best Natural Tourism Destinations by Tripadvisor

Tripadvisor recently unveiled its 2024 ‘Travelers’ Choice Awards, featuring a lineup of the finest natural tourism spots. Lombok secured the 5th spot as one of the best natural tourist destinations to explore in 2024.

“Every year, we award travellers’ favourite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and things to do around the world, based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months. So our Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best winners are decided by you: real travellers from all over, sharing real opinions and stories,” Tripadvisor stated in their official announcement.

Lombok, situated in Eastern Indonesia, beckons with its picturesque landscapes, warm hospitality, and an array of captivating tourist activities. In its recent release, Tripadvisor spotlighted several must-visit destinations on the island, including Gili Meno, Mount Rinjani, and Baun Pusuk.

Often dubbed as a tranquil alternative to Bali, Lombok is attracting more visitors who seek a serene escape. Many travellers now venture to Lombok following their Bali experience. While Lombok secured a notable position, the top spot for the best natural tourism destination this time went to Kathmandu, renowned for its stunning temples and picturesque villages in Nepal. This was followed by Halong Bay, Hurghada, and Mauritius.
