Hard Rock Hotel Bali – A Hard-Rockin’ Stay – Hard Rock Hotel Bali is one of its kind hotel that surely makes your trip to Bali far more memorable for you. They have tons of facilities that will give you one rocking stay while you’re here. Located right beside Kuta Beach, it’s one of the best hotels to stay in as it’s only a few meters away from food, malls, and also WaterBom Bali. When we talk about distance, you can really just cross the road to arrive at Kuta beach!
First Impression
Right off the bat as you enter the main lobby, you’ll immediately be greeted by their bar and where the live music is usually held, Centerstage. Going to the left of the bar you’ll see a variety of electric guitars displayed on the wall as you make it to the receptionist. This hotel gives off a different vibe from other hotels in Bali, which makes it much more stand out.
The Room
This hotel is great if you’re going with family or friends as most of their rooms fit two or more people. For this stay, we stayed at their Deluxe Courtyard Room which has 2 Queen Beds and 1 Trundle Bed. This room can fit up to 4 people, additionally, it has a great view of their courtyard where you can hang out outdoors and close to the Roxity Kids Club.
The room is spacious and comfortable. The facilities provided are also grand especially with their Bose Bluetooth Speaker so that you’ll be able to listen to music together with your friends. Their bathroom is spacious and luscious too. So, if you’re staying with three other people, it doesn’t feel too cramped or small.
Facilities
Depending on what facilities you’re looking for, Hard Rock Hotel almost has everything. One of the most stood-out facilities is their Boom Box Recording Studio. Here, you’ll be able to go karaoke for 2 hours for IDR 300,000 and if you want to have your karaoke session be recorded and put to a CD, it’ll be IDR 400,000. You won’t find this kind of facility in any other hotel in Bali so make sure you check it out if you love singing!
It was a fun experience and two hours flies so fast when you’re having fun in the recording studio. It feels as if you’re recording a song for an album to be sold and published! Makes you feel like you’re a rock star momentarily.
They also have some facilities for kids such as the Roxity Kids Club, where it’s exclusively for kids from age 4 to 12 years old. Of course, being way out of the age requirement, I wasn’t able to participate in the fun activity they have there.
Another facility that you must go to when you’re staying in Hard Rock Hotel Bali is their massive swimming pool. It consists of several pool areas, a kid’s area with fun slides and a giant bucket that’ll pour out when it gets full and a free-form swimming pool with a little sand area to sunbathe on. Plus, you can rent out some single or double tubes or a giant ball to add more fun to the pool. Though we don’t rent any of those out the pool itself is already a fun experience since you can do so much in the pool area.
Food
They have different restaurants here but we only manage to go to two of their dining venues which are the breakfast buffet, Starz Diner, and the bar in the lobby, Centerstage. There are different kinds of breakfast prepared in the buffet. You can have traditional bacon, eggs, and sausage, or perhaps a much more Indonesian-style breakfast with chicken porridge and rice. Starz Diner has both indoor and outdoor seating but breakfast hour tends to be very crowded so sometimes you don’t have any chance to pick where you’d like to sit.
For Centerstage, they serve alcohol and other bar snacks. It’s a pretty basic order but their French fries taste okay and besides, you won’t be able to complain about their food since their live music is what you’re here for.
Services
You shouldn’t doubt their services at all. They are all very attentive and friendly, able to speak English if you can’t speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently just yet. The receptionist can offer a 24 hours service where you’ll be able to call them from your room if there’s any trouble and they’ll do their best to solve it.
Verdict
Without question, Hard Rock Hotel Bali is a whole new experience on its own. It feels like you have to reserve a day to explore the facilities that the hotel has to offer. Friendly staff and a unique yet comfortable room with different facilities and view truly make Hard Rock Hotel stands out amongst the hotels in Bali.
