Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora brings the Marriott Hotels brand to Indonesia’s capital with a new 29-storey property in Central Jakarta. Officially opened on 12 October 2026, the hotel features 238 accommodation units, five dining venues and a range of facilities for business travellers, holidaymakers and families.

Located on Jalan Gelora V, the hotel combines contemporary design with convenient access to Jakarta’s commercial districts, shopping centres and sporting venues. Its accommodation ranges from standard guestrooms to spacious apartments, making it suitable for both short visits and extended stays.

A Convenient Location in Central Jakarta

One of Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora’s main advantages is its location. Palmerah Station, served by Jakarta’s Green Commuter Line, is approximately a five-minute walk away. Major toll roads also provide access to other parts of the city.

Guests can visit several popular destinations from the hotel. Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is around 3 kilometres away, while Senayan Golf Course and Jakarta Aquarium Safari are within a 15-minute drive. For shopping, Plaza Senayan and Senayan City are each approximately 5 kilometres from the property.

The location offers a practical base for visitors attending business meetings, sporting events or activities around Senayan. Its proximity to public transport is also useful for guests who prefer to travel around Jakarta without relying entirely on private vehicles.

Rooms, Suites and Apartments

The 29-storey hotel offers 203 guestrooms and suites alongside 35 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. This combination caters to different travel needs, from solo business trips and weekend breaks to longer stays requiring additional living space.

The accommodation features floor-to-ceiling windows, warm neutral colours and carefully selected materials that create a contemporary, residential atmosphere. Suites and selected apartments also feature larger living areas and bathtubs, providing additional comfort for guests who prefer more spacious accommodation.

The apartments may be particularly suitable for families and extended-stay travellers who need separate living and sleeping areas. Meanwhile, the guestrooms and suites offer options for visitors looking for a conventional hotel stay with access to the property’s dining and recreational facilities.

The building’s distinctive gold façade also gives it a recognisable presence in the Central Jakarta skyline.

Five Restaurants and Bars to Explore

Dining is another key feature of Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora, with five restaurants and bars offering different settings and culinary experiences.
The Greatroom serves as the hotel’s central social space. Guests can relax over tea or coffee, meet colleagues or spend time in a welcoming lounge environment. The setting is designed for both informal meetings and casual conversations.

Kavory is the all-day dining restaurant, serving international and Betawi cuisine. Its light-filled interiors are complemented by a wine room, private dining areas and alfresco seating, making it an option for different dining occasions.

Belloro focuses on Italian cuisine under the direction of Chef Andrea Burzio. Guests can expect a menu centred on classic Italian flavours in a dedicated restaurant setting.

Kiyona offers a Japanese dining experience shaped by three chefs associated with two Michelin stars. Its facilities include a sake bar, an omakase counter, teppan tables and private dining rooms, providing several ways to enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Rothias Bar offers a more intimate atmosphere for evening drinks. Its layered interior design and curated spirits collection create a setting for guests looking to unwind after a day of meetings or sightseeing.

Guests staying in Club Rooms and Suites, along with eligible Marriott Bonvoy members, can also access the M Club Lounge. This provides an additional space for relaxation during their stay.

Meeting and Event Facilities

For corporate gatherings and celebrations, Jakarta Marriott Hotel Gelora features six event spaces, including a 490-square-metre ballroom that can accommodate up to 450 guests.

The ballroom receives natural daylight and is equipped with modern audiovisual facilities and a built-in LED screen. Five additional meeting rooms offer flexibility for smaller gatherings, presentations and business discussions.

A 250-square-metre pre-function area provides space for refreshments and networking before or after events, with views of the city as an added feature.

These facilities make the hotel an option for companies planning conferences, meetings and social functions in Central Jakarta. The ballroom’s capacity and flexible meeting rooms also allow organisers to consider different event formats within the same property.
