Rock legends Guns N’ Roses are set to return to Indonesia after an eight-year absence, with a concert scheduled at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Madya Stadium in Jakarta on 21 November 2026 as part of their latest world tour.

The show marks the band’s first performance in Indonesia since their concert at the GBK Main Stadium in November 2018, bringing frontman Axl Rose together once again with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan before Indonesian fans.

Tickets are priced between Rp1 million and Rp5 million and will be released in three phases throughout July.

The first sales phase, the Nightrain Fan Club Presale, will open on 2 July 2026 at 10.00 WIB for registered members of the band’s official fan club. Fans can register through the official Guns N’ Roses website before the presale begins.

The second phase, the Balé by BTN Presale, will start on 16 July 2026 at 10.00 WIB, followed by the General On Sale on 30 July 2026 at 10.00 WIB.

According to the promoter, 4,500 tickets have been allocated for the Nightrain presale, while 15,000 tickets will be available during the Balé by BTN presale. Any remaining tickets will be released during the general sale.

Official tickets for the Jakarta concert can only be purchased through the TipTip platform and the official website, gnrjakarta.com.

Promoter Says Negotiations Took Nearly a Year

Rajawali Indonesia founder Anas Alimi said bringing Guns N’ Roses back to Jakarta required months of discussions with the band’s management due to the complexity of organising an international tour.

“There are so many stories. Preparing a tour for a band as big as Guns N’ Roses is incredibly complex. It’s not just about the schedule, but also the itinerary, logistics, and even the meticulously detailed production standards that must be met,” Anas said during a press conference in Jakarta.

He revealed that the band had originally planned to perform in Indonesia in 2025 but eventually chose another destination.

“Actually, Guns N’ Roses had planned to come in 2025. However, in the end, they decided to perform in Bangkok and not Jakarta,” he said.
Despite the setback, Rajawali Indonesia continued discussions with the band’s representatives after receiving indications that Jakarta remained under consideration.

“Communications intensified again last November, until an official agreement was finally reached for this year’s concert,” Anas said.
He also noted that Jakarta and Singapore are the only confirmed Southeast Asian stops on the band’s current tour.

“All decisions regarding the selection of destination cities and countries are made directly by the band’s management,” he added.

Jakarta Included in Latest World Tour

The Jakarta concert forms part of Guns N’ Roses’ extensive 2026 world tour, which includes performances across Mexico, Brazil, Europe, the United States, Canada, India and Singapore.

One of the highlights of the tour will be the band’s return to the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, marking their first performance at the iconic venue in more than three decades.

The band has also recently released two new songs, “Nothin'” and “Atlas”, their first new recordings since 2023. While “Atlas” delivers the band’s signature hard rock sound, “Nothin'” explores a more emotional style with prominent keyboard arrangements and melodic guitar work.

Further details about the tour have also been published on the band’s official website.
