Share:

Legendary band Green Day will hold a concert at Carnaval Ancol Jakarta early next year. The organizers aim to make this concert the only Green Day concert in Southeast Asia.

The band will visit Indonesia, specifically Carnaval Ancol, North Jakarta, on February 15, 2025, as part of Hammersonic’s 10th-anniversary celebration.

Ravel Entertainment, as the official music promoter, has announced that the iconic American punk rock band Green Day will hold a concert in Indonesia.

The promoter announced the concert in August 2024 because they considered it the right momentum. Given that Green Day was in the public spotlight some time ago thanks to the superhero movie ‘Deadpool vs Wolverine’.

Regarding the target audience for the Green Day concert in Jakarta on February 15, 2025, the promoter is targeting a much smaller audience than the total viewer capacity at Carnaval Ancol.

The band has scored numerous hits globally and become an icon in the world of rock music. Green Day, the Californian band, has achieved numerous international awards and established themselves as icons in the world of rock music with hits such as ‘American Idiot’, ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’, and ‘21 Guns’.

With a career that has spanned over three decades, Green Day has not just left a glorious and profound mark in the world of music, but has also inspired a huge fan base around the world, including in Indonesia. Their influence is undeniable, and their concert promises to be a celebration of their enduring legacy.
