Grand Dafam Braga Bandung: A Review — Looking for a spacious hotel in Bandung for you and your family? Grand Dafam Braga offers spacious, apartment rooms for you to stay in! Located in the central city of Bandung, it’s just a drive away from the city’s nightlife, factory outlets like Chiampelas and Dago shopping district. Not only that, the hotel is connected to the Braga City Walk which is a culinary centre and entertainment area for you to shop and dine in!
First Impression
From the first look of the building, it doesn’t look like the grand hotel that you’d expect it to be. Everything outside the room seems ordinary but when you get to the room, you’ll feel like you’re staying in a luxurious multi- bedrooms apartment.
The Room
For this stay, we stay at their Condotel 3 Bedroom which consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen area complete with a kettle, electric stove, microwave, a small fridge and a sink. You’ll have the living room right near the door with a spacious dining table for two people. It’s really spacious and you can fit more than four people in this room without having to wait for your turns for bathrooms since they have two of them.
Facilities
We took a swim at their outdoor swimming pool, which is huge and spacious. The area is very clean though the water is a little bit cold due to the gloomy weather when we visited it. You’ll get a full view of the building from here. The place where we have our breakfast is spacious too, a different array of food is provided though it’s mostly Indonesian and American food.
Food
The taste of the breakfast buffet is fresh, they constantly refill them when the food starts to run out and it tastes delicious. They also have a chef ready to take your omelette order for free and you can customize it however you want! The food prepared is delicious, they have different varieties whether you want to go for the classic Indonesian breakfast like Bubur Ayam, rice or American like cereal, sausages, bread or others.
Services
Grand Dafam Braga Bandung’s service is top-notch. The receptionist during our check-in explains everything well and was really attentive in listening to our concerns or requests. They’re available for 24-hour if you have any problems, whether you can reach them through the lobby or your room by using the telephone provided. They are really friendly and helpful too, always offering up a smile and greeting whenever you made eye contact with them!
Verdict
Grand Dafam Braga Bandung doesn’t feel like you’re staying in a hotel but rather at an apartment. To me, it feels homey every time I return from an exploring Bandung for the whole day. The staff in the hotel doubled up this feeling of home with how friendly and nice they are. Overall, you won’t regret staying in Grand Dafam Braga Bandung, as not only do they have friendly and helpful staff but also it’s located in a strategic place that allows you to access several places in Bandung easily.
