Don’t have time to go to the immigration office to get a passport? Now, there is an immigration car.

Immigration offices in Banten, West Java, and Central Java provinces serve the community’s passport needs on a mobile basis through immigration service car facilities.

According to the Director of Immigration Traffic, Felucia Sengky Ratna, the public trend towards passports continues to increase. The high enthusiasm is seen in other regions besides Jakarta, including Banten, West Java, and Central Java.

With the car, the immigration office can open additional passport service quotas and serve the public on a mobile basis as needed, moving around.

Seeing the increasing trend of public interest in passport applications, especially outside the Jakarta area, such as in Banten, West Java, and Central Java, we have decided to extend the immigration service car facility program until the end of 2024. This is our commitment to bring you closer and facilitate your access to passports.

She continued that this immigration service car only serves new and replacement passport applications.

However, if an applicant wants to replace their passport due to damage or loss, they must go to the immigration office.

In addition to processing passports, people can also visit the immigration service car to ask about other immigration services.

The public can also request that immigration offices visit locations such as housing estates, offices, universities, and schools to process passport applications collectively, quickly, and conveniently.
