Batik Air Just Added New Route From Bali to Adelaide, South Australia

Batik Air recently just launched a new flight route connecting Bali with Adelaide, Australia on 10 November 2023. These additional flight routes are predicted to stimulate increased tourism and business prospects for Bali in upcoming years. They officially launched the new flight route from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Adelaide International Airport, South Australia (ADL) with a round-trip ticket.

Batik Air is an Indonesian low-cost carrier, operates a network of international routes from various locations, including Malaysia (KUL), Singapore (SIN), Thailand (DMK), Australia (SYD, BNE, MEL, PER), and South Korea (ICN). Notably, it is renowned as one of Asia’s top budget airlines, boasting a fleet of over 200 domestic flights to various destinations.

Batik Air Flight Schedule – Bali to Adelaide (Round Trip)

According to Danang Mandala Prihantoro, the spokesperson for Batik Air, the flights will be conducted using two of their latest aircraft from the Boeing 737-800NG series. These planes are configured with 12 seats in business class and 150 seats in economy class. On November 10, 2023, Batik Air planned two round-trip flight schedules. Details of these schedules are provided below!

  • Flight ID-6013 is scheduled for departure from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, at 01:00 AM local time, arriving Adelaide International Airport in South Australia by 09:00 AM local time.
  • Flight ID-6012 is scheduled to depart from Adelaide International Airport in South Australia at 10:20 AM local time, and will arrive at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 13:30 PM local time.

Batik Air Expands Several International Route Throughout 2023

In 2023, Batik Air’s efforts to boost Indonesian tourism included the expansion of several international routes. Furthermore, in November 2023, the airline introduced new destinations in the Middle East, including Jeddah and Dubai, to its network.

Earlier in June 2023, Batik Air extended its services by introducing routes from South Korea, thus establishing a flight network connecting various Indonesian cities, including Kualanamu International Airport in North Sumatera, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Yogyakarta International Airport in Yogyakarta, Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, and Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar.
