“This is a drunk foreigner who touched a woman; he has no respect. Respect local people; never touch women like that,” he said.

Local Man Says Action Was to Maintain Order

“I’m not fighting for nothing. Respect the locals because Bali is safe and the people are kind,” he said in the video.
The man also questioned the drunk foreigner about his origin while issuing a warning. “I could have hit you, but I chose to strangle you until you understand. There are a lot of Russians causing trouble here, so don’t be one of them,” he said.
Preliminary accounts suggest that alcohol may have contributed to the foreigner’s behaviour. However, no official confirmation has been issued regarding the individual’s condition at the time of the incident.

“The location of the incident is not yet known. No one has reported it yet,” said Aiptu Ni Nyoman Ayu Inastuti, PS Kasubsipenmas Sihumas Polres Badung.
