Garmin Releases French Gray Version of Venu X1, Expands Premium Smartwatch Offering

Share:

Garmin Indonesia has launched a new French Gray colour variant for its Venu X1 smartwatch, expanding its premium wearable portfolio with a design that prioritises comfort and everyday usability. The company also announced a revised retail price of Rp 12,090,000 for the device in Indonesia.

The French Gray variant introduces a neutral colour palette inspired by classic European design.

The colour combines cool-toned gold accents with a subdued grey finish, offering a modern appearance that complements various styles. Garmin stated that the Venu X1 remains the thinnest and lightest smartwatch in its current portfolio, measuring 7.9 mm in thickness and weighing 34 grams.

“Venu X1 French Gray complements the needs of active and dynamic urban users who view a smartwatch as part of their lifestyle and fashion statement, without compromising health and fitness monitoring functions. Garmin proves that even the most advanced technology can be packaged in a very thin and lightweight design,” said Chandrawidhi Desideriani, Marketing Communications Senior Manager of Garmin Indonesia.

Designed to Support Modern Sports Activities

Garmin said the slim body of the Venu X1 allows greater wrist mobility and helps maintain sensor stability during workouts. The smartwatch supports multiple sports and fitness activities, including golf, padel, and strength training.

For golf users, the smartwatch provides data such as distance to the green, hazard locations, and dogleg positions. It also tracks shot distance and round statistics.

These functions are supported by features including PlaysLike Distance, Virtual Caddie, and full-colour CourseView maps.

The device also supports padel, allowing users to track heart rate, match duration, and estimated calories burned. Garmin said this enables users to monitor workout intensity and overall fitness levels more easily.

For gym training, the Venu X1 includes guided workout animations that users can follow directly on the watch display. These animations provide visual guidance for strength exercises, helping users perform movements correctly and reduce the risk of injury.

Health Monitoring and Daily Wear Comfort

Garmin stated that the lightweight and thin design allows the smartwatch to be worn comfortably throughout the day and during sleep. The device features a 2-inch AMOLED display, designed to provide clear and readable information, including for older users monitoring their daily health metrics.

The smartwatch includes advanced sleep monitoring, which tracks sleep quality and recovery without causing discomfort during rest. Garmin said the ergonomic design allows sensors to maintain consistent skin contact, supporting continuous health tracking.

The Venu X1 also includes features such as heart rate monitoring, activity tracking, and caffeine intake monitoring. Garmin said these functions help users monitor their daily condition and lifestyle habits.

Battery life remains a key feature of the device. Garmin said the Venu X1 can operate for up to eight days in smartwatch mode, allowing users to track their health and activities without frequent charging.

Availability and Pricing in Indonesia

Garmin confirmed that the Venu X1 French Gray variant has been available in Indonesia since 11 February 2026. The smartwatch is sold through Garmin Brand Stores and official e-commerce partners, including Shopee, Tokopedia, Blibli, Lazada, and Eraspace.

The company also introduced a new retail price of Rp 12,090,000 alongside the launch of the new colour variant. Garmin said the updated price provides wider access for consumers interested in its premium wearable technology.
