Triple O is a must-see for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind bar experience in Jakarta. Triple O is a hidden gem in the lively neighbourhood of Blok M, offering a cosy ambience and an exciting selection of drinks and light bites.
Triple O has something for everyone, from its signature pizzas to its extensive spirits menu. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind after a long day at work or a night out with friends, Triple O is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy great food and drinks.
If you are looking for a cosy and hidden place to have drinks and light bites with friends, Triple O may be the perfect spot for you. Located on the second floor of SOON Coffee and Eatery, this bar can be accessed through a door that resembles the tiled wall in front of the cashier.
Initially, the door to Triple O was kept closed, but since this place began to be recognised by visitors, it has remained open. The ambience of the bar is quite crowded, but not too noisy. Maybe because we visited this place on weekdays, it could be even more crowded on weekends.
Triple O has a fairly wide selection of spirits, from Johnnie Walker to Anggur Merah Orang Tua. But the non-alcoholic options are a bit limited, as all we saw during our visit were Badak (Indonesia’s well-known root beer brand) and Pokka green tea. Similarly, the light bites also have a limited selection. During our visit, they only displayed a small roasted chicken and two New York-style pizzas.
The main signature food option at this place is pizza. We tried two of all the variants provided: Dynamite Tuna and Meatfest. Dynamite Tuna has a pretty savoury tuna taste. Interestingly, this pizza is served with a spicy taste that appears gradually, not the typical spicy one that immediately hits you in the face. Unfortunately, nothing stands out about the Meatfest variant. It feels relatively similar to a variant of meat pizza in general.
In addition, the drawback of this bar is that there are spots that tend to be too dark at night. However, Triple O provides an exciting experience for those of you who want to experience bar-hopping for the first time, thanks to their affordable drink choices, or just hang out casually with friends.
Apart from that, this place also offers the feel of a neon city like Cyberpunk thanks to the neon light ornaments in the bar. The ambience of Triple O is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are looking for a hidden gem to spend time with your friends.
