BLACKPINK Confirm New Album and Global Comeback
Alongside the concert announcement, BLACKPINK has also confirmed a long-awaited comeback. The group is set to release a new album in June 2025, marking their first full group release since Born Pink in September 2022. A world tour will follow, beginning in Goyang, South Korea, on 5–6 July 2025.
YG Entertainment, the group’s agency, stated that all four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have cleared their individual schedules to prioritise group activities.
“We’re all very excited to get back together and go on tour. We miss BLINK a lot. We can’t wait to meet them,” said Lisa, confirming that the members are currently working together in the studio.
The new world tour will span South Korea, the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia, including Jakarta. Although the theme and concept of the album remain undisclosed, YG Entertainment has promised a full year of projects.
“We will fill this year with projects that match BLACKPINK’s global reputation and we hope you look forward to what we will present,” a YG representative stated.
