The concert was a nostalgic journey for long-time fans and a celebration of the festival’s musical legacy.

Isyana Sarasvati Delivers an Electrifying Performance

Earlier in the evening, Isyana Sarasvati captivated the audience with a dynamic set on the main stage. Her performance was marked by powerful vocals, a visually striking stage setup, and well-executed choreography. Dressed with elegance and confidence, Isyana opened her show with some of her most well-known hits.

Her signature vocal style and strong technical control brought a deep emotional resonance to each song. The stage production and lighting design further amplified the impact of her performance, creating a memorable experience for festivalgoers.

Raye’s Genre-Bending Showcase Highlights Festival’s Final Night

Also performing on Sunday was British singer-songwriter Raye, who brought a unique fusion of jazz and electronic dance music (EDM) to the BNI Hall main stage. She opened with Oscar Winning Tears, before pausing to greet the crowd:

“How are you guys doing? Is it good? Thank you for listening to my music,” she said, wearing a long pink dress with a low neckline.

Raye continued with Genesis, It’s A Man’s World, Bed, and You Don’t Know Me. Her vocal strength and emotional delivery captivated the audience, particularly during Ice Cream Man, a song she has described as reflecting the lowest moment in her life and her journey to becoming a stronger woman.

She closed her performance with high-energy tracks including Secrets, Black Mascara, Prada, and her viral hit Escapism, turning the final Special Show of the festival into a celebration of emotional resilience and genre-blending creativity.

Raye, 27, has become one of the most prominent voices in contemporary music, boasting eight UK Top 20 singles, over 5 billion Spotify streams, and an Ivor Novello Award. Her presence at Java Jazz Festival 2025 reinforced the event’s commitment to featuring international artists who bring innovation to the jazz genre.
