As of now, the Canggu Shortcut is accessible to all types of vehicles. The community has shown great enthusiasm for this new road, expressing hope that by 2024, traffic congestion in the Canggu area, particularly on weekdays, will be significantly reduced.

Meanwhile, the Bali government is implementing various strategies to alleviate traffic congestion in their tourist hub. The Bali LRT project is a sustainable initiative aimed at establishing a city with robust public transportation.

“The Badung Regency team, along with the central government team from Korea, will arrive tomorrow regarding the MRT. We have proposed the construction of the MRT, considering Bali for the next 1,000 years. Starting this year, we aim to introduce an extensive underground transportation system,” stated Regent Giri Prasta.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this project is anticipated to take place this January, offering a solution to traffic issues on the Island of the Gods, commencing with the Badung Regency. The Bali LRT project is designed to connect several locations, including I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Seminyak, Kuta, and Canggu.
