September 15 is Mexico’s Independence Day, and with Motel Mexicola proud to be the home of Mexican vibes in Bali, it is a fitting way to honour the date.

The event starts at 4 p.m. and, in typical Motel Mexicola style, continues late into the night. This event celebrates an iconic night fit for a Balinese party story.

The Motel Mexicola team had lined up some very special bartenders and mixologists for the big event. Also, Benjamin Padron from Licoreria Limatour, which has been listed as number 7 on the World’s 50 Best Bars, was overseeing the event.

Let’s give a round of applause to the team, including sister venues Da Maria, Mosto, and Luigi’s Hot Pizza, for their hard work and dedication.

True to its name, Motel Mexicola embraces a vibrant Mexican-style concept and theme. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a riot of colourful decorations that exude a warm and cheerful welcome.

The typical Mexican displays also do not escape to enliven the place. When you go inside, you will be immediately faced with the outdoor area, which is located in the middle of the restaurant and surrounded by semi-outdoor areas.

The Instagramable interior decoration at Seminyak makes this restaurant one of the favourite tourist attractions in Bali. This restaurant is often visited by tourists from various countries, especially tourists who want to take pictures with a unique background.

Basically, it is everything you already know and love about Motel Mexicola, but with an even more playful energy.

Renowned Australian surfer and ceramic designer Gerry Wedd also participated in the interiors, bringing the same artistic magic through pottery that he brought to Motel Mexicola Seminyak a decade ago.

Also on board is Tom Robinson, Director of OMG Agencies (the creative arm of the Mexicola Group), who worked on the entire creative concept from the branding to the handmade glassware.
