There are several reasons why J. Sparrow Bar & Grill, which is located at Noble House, Mega Kuningan is chosen by expats and locals as a place to hang out. One of the reasons is the breathtaking decoration. The European-style bar offers beautiful views and of course luxurious feel.
The bartenders are energetic, fun, and friendly welcoming the visitors. The complete selection of alcoholic beverages is the perfect reason why the Bar at J. Sparrow was chosen by expats and Jakartans, you know! Plus, the wine selection is heavenly. Guests are immediately pampered by the view of the wine room that captivates the eye.
Honestly, we came to J. Sparrow only for the drinks and we choose to try their cocktails. You definitely need to try their Cosmopolitan! This beautiful drink definitely screams the name. The pink colour, the fancy orange in it plus the right amount of alcohol in it is the best! Usually, some cocktail we tried before has lighter alcohol. But this beauty really kicks our senses!
But still, it’s a lie if we just want to drink, apart from the Cosmopolitan, Shipwreck is really a winner! The combination of chocolate cheese brownie, spicy white chocolate sauce, mint, and almond crumble with chocolate rock soil is definitely super unique, complete with the unusual presentation! At first, it was in the shape of a ship, then after being doused with hot blue smurf or mint sauce, the ship suddenly wrecked into pieces just like being beaten by the blue wave. Taste great, unique, and not overly sweet.
The beef sandwich is also delicious! Actually, it looks more like a burger with thick beef than a sandwich, but the sweet taste from the sauce is really great. Another meal we ordered was grilled salmon. Even though the salmon is delicious, the chili sauce doesn’t really taste good, well it’s not bad but it’s a little bit lacking for our preference.
In addition to being a good place, the manager on duty of J. Sparrow, Heru, is also very friendly! Don’t forget to note there is live music every Friday night. The place is quite noisy so we do not really recommend any business meeting here, but if you want to party the night or serve some entertainment to your colleagues, this is the right place!
