Heartwarming Video of The Jakarta Online Taxi Driver Get His New Jacket Goes Viral!

This was exemplified by @rektarizky09, a TikTok account that filmed an elderly online taxi driver exuding cheerfulness during a pickup.  Upon delving deeper, it became evident that Mr. Komara, the online taxi driver, had received a new work jacket, which rekindled his enthusiasm for his job. Despite his age, Mr. Komara displayed a remarkable zeal for work, rivaling that of his younger counterparts.

In the 1.24-minute clip, Mr. Komara can be observed requesting the passenger to capture the moment with his vintage cell phone. Eventually, Mr. Komara made a stop at a park around Jakarta, and the passenger snapped several photos using his phone.

Uploaded on November 9, 2023, the video quickly went viral, attracting over 21 million viewers on TikTok, garnering 2.7 million likes, 27 thousand comments, and 140 thousand users who saved the video.
