In total, Indonesia welcomed 13,902,420 foreign tourist arrivals in 2024. This marked a 19.05% increase compared to 2023 and represented the highest figure in the last five years, although it remained lower than the pre-pandemic peak of 16.1 million arrivals in 2019.

“Cumulatively throughout 2024, total foreign tourist visits reached 13,902,420, an increase of 19.05 % compared to 2023. This achievement is the highest in the last five years since 2020,” Amalia stated during the press conference.
