The legendary rock band Foo Fighters, hailing from Seattle, Washington, United States, is set to perform in Jakarta on 2 October 2025.

The concert, titled Foo Fighters: Live in Jakarta, will take place at Carnaval Ancol, North Jakarta, and is being organised by the promoter Ravel Entertainment.

According to Ravel Entertainment’s CEO, Ravel Junardy, Jakarta has been selected as the first stop on the Foo Fighters’ 2025 tour before the band continues on to Singapore.

“THE MOMENT IS HERE! Rock legends Foo Fighters are heading to Jakarta for a massive show at Carnaval Ancol on October 2, 2025,” announced Ravel Entertainment via Instagram on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.

Interestingly, the initiative for the Jakarta concert reportedly came from the band themselves. As reported by Kompas.com, Ravel revealed during a press conference in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, that Foo Fighters had made the first move.

“Yes, so a month before Green Day (announced the concert), they (Foo Fighters) contacted [us]. At first, I didn’t know if it was really Foo Fighters or not, but after checking, it turned out that they really wanted to go to Jakarta,” he explained.

This upcoming concert marks the Foo Fighters’ second appearance in Indonesia, following their first visit in 1996.

Ticketing Details and Purchase Procedure

Tickets for Foo Fighters: Live in Jakarta will go on sale on Sunday, 26 May 2025 at 15:00 WIB, and can be purchased through the official website www.foojkt.com or via the official ticketing partner appointed by the promoter.

To secure tickets, concertgoers must first create an account at the official website. One account is permitted to purchase up to five tickets, even across different categories. However, the promoter strictly prohibits ticket transfers or resale, as the ticket must match the official identity of the purchaser.

Accepted identification includes a KTP (Indonesian Identity Card), KK (Family Card), SIM (Driving Licence), or Passport.

The ticket categories and prices are as follows:

  • CAT 3: IDR 1,788,555
  • CAT 2: IDR 2,366,555
  • CAT 1: IDR 2,888,555

Please note that the listed prices exclude a 10 percent tax, a 5 percent platform fee, and administrative charges.

Upon successfully securing a booking, buyers are required to complete their personal data and finalise the payment within 10 minutes. Should payment not be completed in that time, the system will automatically cancel the transaction, and the buyer will have to restart the process from the beginning.

Ravel Entertainment has also clarified that all ticket categories are for festival-style standing areas, meaning that all attendees will be on their feet during the performance. “One account can only purchase a maximum of five tickets from that category,” reiterated Ravel.

What to Expect from the Show

While the full setlist for the Jakarta performance has not been revealed, fans can expect a selection of the band’s most iconic songs.

“The setlist won’t be far from what they usually play. Moreover, this is the first tour of 2025. They will definitely bring hits from the beginning until now,” stated Ravel entertainment to Kompas.

However, when asked to disclose more details, he added: “I can’t mention the setlist now, it won’t be a surprise anymore.”

Ravel also assured fans that the upcoming performance would be a memorable one, saying: “It will be something cool.”
