Denpasar holds a job fair festival organized by the government for three days from the 1st to the 3rd of December 2022. There are around 2,500 job vacancies, including psychological counseling services to consult your interests and talents.
The government has developed four strategic programs aimed at controlling inflation; social assistance, job creation, transport sector subsidies, and social protection.
“This job fair festival is one of the government’s efforts to reduce regional inflation rates, especially in the employment sector,” said Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, when opening the job market festival in Denpasar on Thursday, 1st of December 2022.
“Let’s support and succeed together with government programs aimed at the welfare of the community,” said Arya Wibawa
The event is held at Lumintang field, Denpasar, Bali with more than 30 companies from local to multinational from many sectors, such as health, banking, and tourism .
The companies with offices in Indonesia accept a variety of positions for job seekers of all majors, such as Bahtera Pesat Lintabuana, Mavel, JNE Express, and Krisna Holding Company.
Head of the Department of Labor and Competency Certification for Denpasar City, Nyoman Ngurah Jimmy Sidharta, said that the festival aims to connect job seekers with potential workers, especially now that the economy is recovering.

Jimmy added that the company expects job seekers to bring their requirements, including a resume or curriculum vitae. For those who are affected by unilateral termination of employment and have not found a job that is suitable for this vacancy, there will be another facilitator.
The concept of the job fair festival has several goals, such as providing the job seeker with information about domestic and international job vacancies, developing knowledge in the form of product launches, and building marketing and networks among entrepreneurs with funding Agencies and Industry.
There is also education and information for the public regarding the opportunities or the creation of new jobs through creative economic ventures.
On September 20 – 21, 2022, the government also held a job fair at the Dharma Negara Alaya building in Denpasar. Due to the enthusiasm in the previous events, the job fair festival was held again, with approximately 3,507 applicants in the last two days of the job fair.
This job fair was held again after being stopped for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The unemployment rate in Denpasar in 2022 currently reaches 7.02 percent.
