Delightful Night Networking at LBRTY With Social Expat

Share:

After the spectacular first event in Costess, our second social networking event is much more intimate in LBRTY Jakarta, Elysee SCBD offers a delightful place and atmosphere for mingling with new friends. While the sky initially look worrisome as it is cloudy and on the verge of rain in the evening, fortunately, it did not rain.

The event starts as soon as people start to register at the registration booth. Guests are given a free gin tonic as a courtesy of LBRTY for following Social Expat’s and LBRTY’s Instagram accounts. Other than a free gin tonic from LBRTY Jakarta, guests are given 20 percent off vouchers for their purchase at one of Social Expat’s sponsors, Purple Pineapple Studio.

As stated before, this second networking event feels more intimate as everyone is seated at one long table located near the entrance to the bar.

Despite everyone not knowing anyone prior to the event, everyone easily makes friends with each other and engages in conversations easily. Some might talk about where they’re currently working and discuss Social Expat’s next event. Some even bought a few glasses of LBRTY’s signature cocktails and mocktails to lighten up the mood even more.

As the night goes on, the mood gets warmer with a live band performance that sings RnB and jazz songs to get everyone relaxed and to continue networking with everyone. Even if it is past 7pm, there are still people who register and join in as they also brought friends along to networking with other expats and Indonesians who are present.

Laughter are heard despite the live band performance as everyone is very welcoming to new guests who had just arrived. There are people who decided to capture tonight’s moment in their Instagram accounts through creative Instastory posts. Which, for guests who has the most fun Instastory will get one free bottle of Nord Gin. The winner will be announced on Social Expat’s Instagram account on the next day as everyone is too focused on getting to know as much people as possible rather than winning the prize.
