Indonesia is never short of exciting concerts from international bands. The latest is the arrival of Cigarettes After Sex, a band from Texas, America.

The good news comes from PK Entertainment, one of Indonesia’s music promoters, who successfully brought Coldplay to Indonesia.

“@cigsaftersex will return to Jakarta on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Beach City International Stadium,” wrote the promoter on his social media account.

The Cigarettes After Sex concert will be held at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta, on January 17, 2025. However, concert ticket sales will be held at the end of July 2024 and are divided into four categories.

Blue is the most expensive category, selling for Rp1.95 million. This category includes stands that occupy the front center area while facing the stage.

The Yellow category, behind Blue, sells for Rp1.75 million. Festival is the third category, with a price of Rp1.65 million, and occupies the festival area, so ticket buyers will stand.

Green is the cheapest, at Rp1.55 million, and will occupy the stands in the festival side area.

Meanwhile, the indie band will also visit several Asian points besides Indonesia.

The American band also announced the countries that will be visited as part of X’s World Tour in a social media post.

Cigarettes After Sex will kick off the concert in 2025 with a concert at Asia World Expo, Hong Kong, on January 9, 2025.

The three-member band will then travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on January 11, followed by Manila, Philippines, on January 14, 2025.

Afterward, Cigarettes After Sex will visit Indonesia before closing the Asian tour with a Bangkok, Thailand concert on January 21, 2025.

Cigarettes After Sex became popular after releasing a single titled “Apocalypse.” First released in 2017, the song is part of their self-titled album, which has received over 1.3 billion plays on Spotify.

Most recently, they released a single titled “Baby Blue Movie”. This song is the latest release, launched on June 4, 2024.

The lyrics of “Baby Blue Movie” invite listeners to find happiness in the love they currently have.

The song also emphasizes that true satisfaction comes from appreciating the love that exists today, not looking for an idealized version of love.
