Enjoyable Business Networking at Sun Katsura with Social Expat

Share:

Last night, Social Expat held a monthly event in Sunkatsura, a Japanese resto located at ELYSEE SCBD Jakarta. This is our first “Business Networking” despite already having other “Social Networking” events before.

The place offered a delightful city view from the top of the building and the atmosphere to build your business network. The event started from 7 PM to 9 PM after the guests arrived and registered at the entrance.

Although some people got stuck in the traffic line, they managed to come and enjoy the moments. Guests are given free gin tonic as a courtesy by following Sun Katsura and Social Expat on Instagram. Furthermore, guests could enjoy 20% off for purchasing from one of Social Expat’s sponsors, Purple Pineapple Studio

The Business Networking event is about engaging in business relationships, so guests used the opportunity to exchange their business information with each other through interactive activities, such as giving each other business cards, talking, and presenting their business.

Though they didn’t know each other at first, they engaged in the conversations really well. Some were talking about their current activities, some exchanged phone numbers and business cards, and some were enjoying drinks with the venue’s special promos like cocktails, wines, and many more. Peals of laughter were heard as the night got warmer and the music started to play.

People were still registering and attending as they brought their friends to build a network with other foreign and Indonesian participants even after 7 PM. The clocks ticked and the main event started when our sponsors, LetsMoveIndonesia and Purple Pineapple Studio, presented their business.

We had a lucky draw at the end of the event, in which people who brought their business cards and put them at the registration bowl before, will get IDR 150,000 off at Purple Pineapple Studio or IDR 500,000 off at LetsMoveIndonesia.

For those of you who couldn’t attend our events before, sit tight and don’t worry. We have other upcoming events on November 4, 2022, at Treehaus Bar Kemang and November 18, 2022, at Relish Bistro – Fraser Residence Menteng.

The registration price is IDR 120,000 with a lot of promos that you can find it on our page, Social Expat. For RSVP and other information, make sure to follow our Instagram account @thesocialexpat and Social Expat on Facebook and LinkedIn. Also, this is not only open for expats, everyone is welcome, too!
