Business Networking: A Night to Remember with Social Expat

Share:

After successfully holding our first Business Networking in October 2022, last night, on the 30th of November 2022, Social Expat was back again with the second Business Networking event at Costess, Cyber 2 Tower 17th Floor, South Jakarta.

The place offered a beautiful view from the 17th floor with city lights and tall buildings. It was a great ambience to spend the night and grow your business network.

The event started at 7 PM onward after the guests arrived and registered themselves at the entrance. Guests were given a welcome drink as a generosity by following Costess Bar and Social Expat on Instagram.

Moreover, guests also could enjoy promos such as:

  1. Special price on food bundling
  2. And many more

In general, Business Networking is about sharing information or services between people, businesses, or groups. It is also a way for people to grow their business relationships. As a result, connections or a network can be built and useful for people in their professional or personal lives.

People were still registering themselves at the entrance although it was already past 7PM and the host opened by introducing Social Expat to the guests. Many of the guests were people who had been to our events before and some were newcomers.

The guests had a great time engaging in the conversations really well. Some of them were talking about their business and current activities, some were exchanging business cards and phone numbers, and some were capturing moments together with their phones and posting it through Insta Story.

Furthermore, there was also a game where guests introduced their business to other guests. The night got warmer as the sounds of laughter were heard and the music started to play from the local band to top it all off.

When the clock ticked off at 9PM, there was a lucky draw, in which people who gave their business card at the registration bowl at the entrance will get merchandise from one of Social Expat’s sponsors, Purple Pineapple Studio.

“I always have fun and meet a lot of people at Social Expat. So, I really enjoyed it so much”, she said.

Derek, the guest from America, also said the same thing. He said the event was very good because he can meet like-minded people like him from a lot of countries.

“Before this event started, I was looking for like-minded people, just like me”, he said.

For those of you who couldn’t attend our event last night and the other past events before, no need to fret!
