Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Governor of East Java, expressed immense pride in Bromo Tengger Semeru being recognized as the world’s most beautiful national park in 2023 by Bounce. The aspiration is to welcome more tourists in 2024 to relish the natural splendour of East Java.

In proximity to Mount Bromo, visitors can explore various other tourist destinations like Mount Batok, Mount Watangan, Mount Widodaren, and the savanna. This variety ensures visitors remain captivated by the diverse natural allure of the Bromo tourist area in East Java.

Following the fire incident in September 2023, Bromo tourism temporarily ceased due to the complete burning of the savanna area, posing a danger to visitors. However, the Bromo Tengger Semeru area has since regenerated, turning green once more and is now open for tourists to safely enjoy.
