Bobby Kertanegara: Prabowo’s Cat at the State Palace

Share:

Prabowo Subianto was officially inaugurated as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He also officially inhabited the State Palace in Jakarta starting from Sunday after he was officially inaugurated.

His arrival was different because, besides bringing his family, President Prabowo did not forget to bring his pet cat, Bobby.

This was confirmed through uploads from Bobby’s social media account @bobbykertanegara on Sunday.

In the upload, Prabowo is seen taking time to play with Bobby on the sidelines of his busy work as the Head of State of Indonesia.

Bobby Kertanegara was brought to the Presidential Palace using a special cream-coloured cat stroller with the words “BK Bobby Kertanegara”.

Bobby, who was on the stroller with his favourite doll, seemed to enjoy Prabowo’s strokes.

The 8th President of Indonesia even invited his fur child, who has been with him since 2016, to chat casually.

The sweet moment between Prabowo Subianto and Bobby Kertanegara at the Palace was also uploaded through the cat’s Instagram account, @bobbykertanegara, with a caption reading “Bapak” plus two red and white heart emoticons.

In the video, Prabowo is seen petting Bobby Kertanegara’s cat sitting in a stroller and asking if he wants to see his room at the Palace. “Bobby, want to see Bobby’s room?” Prabowo said.

Bobby’s presence at the Presidential Palace also attracted the attention of Prabowo’s guests, such as Anindya Bakrie. He did not forget to capture the moment with Prabowo’s cat. The appearance of Prabowo’s cat attracted the attention of netizens.

Some netizens expressed their happiness and hoped to see Bobby Kertanegara’s room at the Presidential Palace. “Don’t forget the room tour, Bob,” said one netizen.

The story of Prabowo’s encounter with Bobby the cat

Bobby often attracts the public’s attention, and many are curious about the furry creature’s origin until he comes to live at Prabowo Subianto’s residence.

Apparently, Bobby was originally a street cat. Bobby suddenly entered the area of Prabowo Subianto’s house while it was being built. From there, Prabowo Subianto made Bobby his favourite pet.

Prabowo Subianto is known to have a pet cat named Bobby and twin brothers Miki, Mika, and Miko.

However, Bobby gets the most attention because he is often caught on camera accompanying Prabowo Subianto on every occasion.

Prabowo’s cat stroller price

Netizens were surprised by the presence of Prabowo Subianto’s personal cat, Bobby Kertanegara. The reason is that the price of the stroller is arguably not cheap.

Bobby’s pet stroller is branded Uppapets. According to the official website, Bobby’s ride at the Presidential Palace is categorized as a large X-go type.

You can check in e-commerce and get information on Bobby’s varying stroller prices, which start at IDR 6 million—IDR 16 million.
