In order to anticipate the impending summer blockbuster based on the legendary doll, Barbie has opened Barbie’s Dream House in Neo Soho Jakarta and invited visitors to experience what does it feels like to be a Barbie girl in the Barbie world.

The Barbie Dream House is a pop-up event that will take place from the 7th of July to the 6th of August 2023 at Neo Soho Mall in West Jakarta.

The house Barbie lives in with her friends and family in the upcoming film is replicated in the Barbie Dream House. Each room in the house is furnished with interactive components and decorations with Barbie’s design and colour scheme (albeit pink predominates). The house has a variety of rooms and amenities.

Visitors can explore the house and pose for photographs with their favourite Barbie dolls and characters. Additionally, they may participate in numerous games and activities, including dressing up, playing with cosmetics, creating crafts, and more. Along with live music from DJ Aiiness, the event features beauty seminars with ESQA Cosmetics.

The purpose of the celebration is to mark the impending release of the live-action film Barbie, in which Ryan Gosling plays Ken, and Margot Robbie plays the title role. In Indonesia, the film will premiere on the 19th of July, 2023.

Furthermore, from the 27th of July to the 13th of August 2023, Tribeca Park, located on the neighbouring Central Park Mall grounds, will be partially turned into a Barbie Skate Park, where fans can rent or bring their own roller skates.

To enter the Barbie Dream House, you have to buy a Barbie baggage badge on the spot for IDR 88,000. Alternatively, you may purchase a Barbie baggage tag at the Barbie retail location for IDR 249,000 or two luggage tags and a bonus tumbler for IDR 599,000.
