Bali Authorities Launch Investigation Into Atlas Beach Club – The much-anticipated Atlas Beach Club in Canggu held its grand opening despite a blasphemy scandal and a last-minute redesign. On the basis that they might not have enough permits and business licenses, local officials are already looking into the facility, which asserts to be Bali’s top tourist attraction.

According to a report in the local paper The Bali Tribune, Commission I of the Bali Provincial DPRD would be looking into the licensing of the new venue. A department store and a street food market with room and stalls for over 52 outlets are also located in Atlas Beach Club. In order for these businesses to operate, they must also have the necessary licenses, and Atlas Bali needs the proper documentation in order to sublet their facilities.

The secretary of the Bali DPRD, Dewa Nyoman Rai, told newspaper reporters that it was obvious from the information he had been given that Atlas Beach Club had begun operating without all necessary licenses. He detailed the 26 separate licenses and permits that the club needed in order to lawfully engage in all of its activities, including serving food and alcohol, conducting events, hiring personnel, letting out space to other businesses, and more.

The district administration previously had responsibility over these 26 permit kinds, but the provincial government does not. Although it is not believed that this modification is to blame for Atlas Beach Club’s lack of compliance with its permits. That’s why the authorities decided to do an investigation into Atlas Beach Club.

Major stakeholders and well-known Indonesian TV sensation Hotman Paris answered questions from the invited media during the Atlas Beach Club’s press launch. Hotman Paris responded that everything was legal when questioned regarding permits, licensing, and business practices in light of the parent company’s previous transgressions.

The Atlas Beach Club is being marketed at Bali’s Largest One Stop Lifestyle Centre. The location now can accommodate over 10,000 tourists each day and employs over 1,000 locals. The Beach Club is reputed to have the longest poolside and bar in South East Asia. The Atlas Beach Club caters to both domestic and foreign tourists and aspires to be the largest beach club location on earth.
