The Westin Jakarta Brings Sleep Well, Move Well and Eat Well to Life

Share:

Wellness has become an increasingly important part of everyday life. Beyond simply exercising or following a healthy diet, wellbeing can involve getting enough quality sleep, staying active, eating mindfully and making time to recharge.

For many people, maintaining this balance can be challenging, particularly in a busy city like Jakarta. Finding simple ways to rest, move and nourish the body can therefore become an important part of creating a healthier lifestyle.

This was the idea behind World Wellness Weekend 2026, which took place from 18 to 20 September. The Westin Jakarta marked the occasion with three days of wellness experiences centred around the hotel’s signature pillars: Sleep Well, Move Well and Eat Well.

Rather than treating wellness as a single activity, the programme explored different aspects of wellbeing through relaxation, exercise and nutrition.

Sleep Well With TWG Tea

The wellness weekend began on 18 September with Sleep Well with TWG Tea, an intimate evening held in The Westin Jakarta’s Presidential Suite.

The experience focused on the connection between restful evenings and overall wellbeing. Guests were invited to slow down through an Evening Tea Ritual by TWG Tea, followed by a Sleep Well-inspired dinner and wellness moments from Heavenly Spa by Westin™.

The evening highlighted the importance of creating space to unwind before bedtime. From calming rituals to carefully selected flavours, the experience encouraged guests to look at rest as an important part of their overall wellness routine.

For those with busy schedules, simple habits such as having a calming evening ritual or creating time to disconnect can be an accessible way to make better rest part of everyday life.

Move Well With Revel Jakarta

The second day shifted the focus from rest to movement. On 19 September, Move Well with Revel brought guests together for an indoor cycling session at Wayra on Level 67, offering panoramic views of Jakarta’s skyline.

Held in collaboration with Revel Jakarta, the session combined exercise, music and community. Experienced Revel instructors led the workout with energetic playlists and coaching, while participants were encouraged to exercise at their own pace.

The experience reflected a broader approach to fitness, where movement does not necessarily have to feel like a chore. Finding an activity that feels enjoyable and motivating can make it easier to stay active as part of a regular routine.

Whether it is indoor cycling, walking, running or another form of exercise, the idea is to find movement that can be enjoyed and maintained over time.

Eat Well With EVIAN and Balans Nutrition

The final day brought together exercise and nutrition through Run, Refuel, Recharge on 20 September.

Taking place during Car Free Day along Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said, the morning wellness experience encouraged participants to start the day with purposeful movement before focusing on post-workout nourishment.

In collaboration with Balans Nutrition, The Westin Jakarta provided nutritional offerings designed to support energy replenishment and recovery after the run. EVIAN was also part of the experience.

The activation highlighted an important part of wellness that can sometimes be overlooked: what happens after exercise. Staying active is one part of a healthy lifestyle, while adequate nourishment and hydration also play a role in supporting the body afterwards.

The Westin Jakarta’s Eat Well concept therefore looked beyond the meal itself, presenting mindful nutrition as part of a broader approach to wellbeing.

“At Westin, wellness is more than an amenity. It is the foundation of every guest experience,” said Yesaya Siagian, Director of Marketing Communications at The Westin Jakarta.
