Scoot has increased the frequency of its flights between Singapore and Lombok, expanding services from four weekly flights to 10 weekly return flights from June 2026.
The move provides additional travel options for residents, tourists and business travellers travelling between Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) and Lombok International Airport (LOP). With the increased frequency, flights are now available every day of the week, while some days offer more than one service.
The expansion comes as Lombok continues to strengthen its position as one of Indonesia’s growing international tourism destinations. The additional flights are expected to improve connectivity between the island and Singapore, one of Southeast Asia’s major aviation hubs.
Airport authorities said the increase demonstrates confidence in the potential of Lombok’s international aviation market and reflects growing demand for international travel to and from the island.
Airport Authority Sees Positive Demand Trend
General Manager of Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (BIZAM), Aidhil Philip Julian, said the airline’s decision to increase services was a positive development for both the local community and the tourism sector in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
“This increase in Scoot flight frequency is good news for the people and tourism sector of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). In addition to providing more travel schedule alternatives for passengers, this increase in frequency is also a positive indicator of demand for international travel to and from Lombok,” Aidhil said in an official statement to the media on Tuesday, 9 June 2026.
According to airport management, the additional services are expected to improve accessibility to Lombok while supporting wider economic activity across the province.
Officials believe stronger air connectivity will contribute to the growth of tourism, trade and investment, as well as facilitate business travel and international visitor arrivals.
Singapore remains an important gateway for international travellers connecting to destinations across Asia, Europe and Australia. Improved flight frequencies could therefore provide greater convenience for passengers travelling to Lombok through Singapore.

Airport Improves Ground Transportation Services
Alongside the increase in international flight services, Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport has also introduced an integrated ground transport desk as part of efforts to improve passenger services.
Previously, land transportation services at the airport were located at several separate points across the terminal area. Airport management said the new system centralises transportation services in a single location, making it easier for passengers to access information and arrange onward travel.
The integrated ground transport desk is designed to streamline passenger movement between the airport and destinations across Lombok. Officials said the initiative is intended to create a more organised and efficient travel experience for visitors arriving on both domestic and international flights.
The development forms part of broader efforts to enhance airport facilities and support the continued growth of tourism and business activity in West Nusa Tenggara.
With increased flight frequencies and improved ground transportation services, airport authorities hope Lombok will become more accessible to international visitors while strengthening its role as a key tourism destination in Indonesia.
