Kings of Convenience to Perform in Jakarta This November, Ticket Sales Open 17 June

Norwegian folk duo Kings of Convenience are set to return to Indonesia as part of their Asia Tour 2026, with two performances scheduled in Jakarta later this year.

The concert, titled Kings of Convenience Live in Jakarta, will take place on 28 and 29 November 2026 at the JIEXPO Convention Center & Theater in Central Jakarta. The announcement was made by promoter Akselerasi Entertainment through its official Instagram account on Wednesday, 10 June.

“The beloved Norwegian duo brings the Kings of Convenience Asia Tour 2026 to Jakarta,” wrote Akselerasi Entertainment, as quoted by Kompas.com.

The upcoming shows will mark the band’s return to the Indonesian capital more than three years after their previous performance at The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, Pacific Place, Jakarta, in March 2023.

Comprising Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, Kings of Convenience have built a loyal fan base around the world through their acoustic sound, intricate guitar arrangements and understated songwriting. The duo are best known for songs such as Misread, I’d Rather Dance with You, Mrs Cold and Know How.

Ticket Prices and Seating Categories

Promoters have released five ticket categories for the Jakarta concerts, with prices ranging from Rp 975,000 to Rp 1,500,000, excluding taxes and administration fees.

The ticket categories are:
CAT 1: Rp 1,500,000
CAT 2: Rp 1,375,000
CAT 3: Rp 1,275,000
CAT 4: Rp 1,125,000
CAT 5: Rp 975,000

Organisers noted that the listed prices do not include a 20 per cent tax and additional administrative charges.

The venue seating plan has also been announced. Holders of CAT 1, CAT 2 and CAT 3 tickets will be seated on the fourth floor of the venue. CAT 4 ticket holders will be located on the sixth floor, while CAT 5 ticket holders will be seated on the seventh floor.

The seating arrangement is expected to accommodate audiences across multiple levels of the theatre while maintaining visibility of the stage.

Ticket sales for Kings of Convenience Live in Jakarta will begin on 17 June 2026 at 11:00 WIB.

Fans wishing to attend the concerts can purchase tickets through the official event website, KOCJakarta.com, once sales go live.
