Hammersonic 2026 Offers 100 % Refunds, Event to Continue as Private Show

Promoter Ravel Entertainment has announced a full refund policy for all ticket holders of Hammersonic Festival 2026. The decision marks the first time the festival has issued a 100% refund.

Ravel Junardy, Chief Executive Officer of Ravel Entertainment, confirmed that the refund process will begin next week. “I will issue a 100% refund to all ticket holders for Hammersonic Festival 2026. The refund process will begin next week,” he said in an official statement received by RRI on Wednesday evening, April 22, 2026.

Ticket sales for the annual metal music festival have closed. The promoter stated that the measure follows recent developments affecting the event.

Ravel said the decision was taken as an adjustment to the situation. He added that it also aims to maintain the standing of the festival and all parties involved, including performers, crew, and organisers.

Festival to Proceed in Private Format

Despite the refund policy, Hammersonic Festival 2026 will still take place. The event will now be held as a private festival with limited access.

“With this decision, Hammersonic Festival 2026 will continue as a private festival. Only those who have received an official invitation directly from me will be able to attend,” Ravel said.

The announcement was shared through an official statement and social media updates on April 22, 2026. The promoter also confirmed that invitations will be distributed in limited numbers.

Fans who wish to attend the revised event may seek further information through the festival’s official communication channels. No additional details were provided regarding attendance capacity or selection criteria.

Line-up Changes and Cancellations

The decision follows a series of line-up changes ahead of the festival, which is scheduled for May 2 to May 3, 2026. Several international acts have withdrawn from the event.

My Chemical Romance cancelled their appearance in December 2025. The band had been scheduled as a headliner. The group will instead hold a separate concert at Jakarta International Stadium on November 22, 2026.

Other bands also confirmed cancellations in April 2026. The Story So Far withdrew from the festival and cited personal reasons. The band stated that the decision was not related to the organisers and issued an apology to fans in Indonesia.

The Haunted also cancelled their performance. In a statement, the band said, “Unfortunately, our performance at Hammersonic has been cancelled due to flight delays.”

New Found Glory announced their withdrawal on April 12, 2026. The band said, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to perform at Hammersonic 2026 this May.”

Two other acts, Miss May I and Fleshgod Apocalypse, have not been confirmed in recent updates. Organisers have not issued an official statement regarding their status.

The promoter has since announced adjustments to the line-up. Replacement acts include Dashboard Confessional, Ellegarden, Lich King, Malevolence, and Senses Fail.

Ravel also addressed supporters in a separate post, stating, “HAMMERSONIC IS ON! FOR TRUE HAMMERHEADS ONLY!”
