Jakarta, Get Ready: Mitski Brings Her Latest Album Tour to Indonesia

Share:

Japanese-American singer-songwriter Mitski has officially announced that Jakarta will be one of the stops on her 2026 world tour, in support of her upcoming album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me.

Presented by Ismaya Live and AEG Presents Asia as part of We The Fest Selects, Mitski is scheduled to perform in Jakarta on 18 July 2026 at Tennis Indoor Senayan.

Ahead of the tour, Mitski recently released her latest single, “I’ll Change For You,” following the lead track “Where’s My Phone?”, which debuted on 16 January.

In contrast to the energetic first release, I’ll Change For You leans into a softer, more introspective sound, highlighting Mitski’s emotionally restrained yet deeply expressive vocals.

Her forthcoming album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, is set for release on 27 February 2026. Described as a conceptual record, the album centres on the inner world of a closed-off woman who only feels truly free within the chaos of her own home.

The project is produced alongside longtime collaborator Patrick Hyland, featuring richer arrangements while staying true to Mitski’s intimate storytelling style.

The Jakarta show also marks Mitski’s return to Indonesia, following her well-received performance during the Be The Cowboy tour in 2019.
