A viral TikTok video has captured a heartwarming moment in Bali, where a group of foreigners, out for their morning run, quickly turned into firefighters after a small fire broke out at a roadside stall.

In the video, the group is seen running along a road when they suddenly notice the fire. Without hesitation, they stop their run and jump into action, helping by lifting buckets of water to put out the flames. The group’s quick response has sparked praise online.

Some users were curious about the location of the fire and if it was at a popular restaurant. One commenter asked, “Oh no, is that Sunny’s place? Are they okay?” The video owner quickly replied, reassuring viewers, “Everyone is okay! 🥰”

Bali’s Running Community and Upcoming Events

The viral firefighters moment highlights the growing community of regular runners in Bali. There are numerous running groups, and the island also hosts various running events throughout the year.

Recently, the Padma Run was held in Ubud, Bali, for the first time. This event, titled Sunday Run: Road to Padma Run Bali 2025, offered a five-kilometre route through Puhu Village, Ubud. Runners enjoyed scenic views, including local villages and challenging climbs similar to a trail run.

Bali will also host several major running events in 2025. The Maybank Marathon will take place again in August 2025, while the Black Stone International Bali Fun Run 2025, featuring Sandiaga Uno, is set for June or July.

This fun run will combine sports and tourism, taking participants on a route through Benoa Harbor’s Black Stone Yacht Club, offering stunning views of the region’s natural beauty.

In addition, the AirAsia RedRun 2025 will be held on a large scale in Bali, welcoming everyone from Olympic athletes to healthy lifestyle enthusiasts, charity runners, and beginners. The event offers various categories, including a 5K fun run, a 10K, and a 21K half marathon.

Those interested in participating can register through the official website, www.airasiaredrun.com, from February 14 to April 18, 2025. Participants can choose their preferred race category, whether it’s the 5K Fun Run, 10K, or the Half Marathon 21K.
