Viral Video Shows Special Reunion Between Foreign Tourists and a Server in Bali

Share:

Bali always has a story that leaves a lasting impression on those who have been there. It’s not just the island’s beauty that makes an impression; the behaviour and attitude of the Balinese people also imprint lasting memories for tourists.

This viral video on TikTok shows a couple of foreign tourists returning to Bali and meeting a Balinese. The meeting was special because two years earlier, the couple had also met the Balinese.

They orchestrated a surprise visit to a beach club and had a special surprise for the Balinese, who turned out to be serving their table.

@amberkl___ Two years ago, @Bas Dijkhuis and I met the kindest soul while traveling in Bali. Today, we surprised him at his work, and the look on his face was priceless. Moments like these remind us how special connections can be. 💛✨ #FYP #BaliMemories #Reunion #PureJoy #PricelessMoments #TravelFriends #SurpriseVisit #GoodVibesOnly #FriendshipGoals #SpreadKindness #TravelThrowback ♬ Cornfield Chase – Dorian Marko

“POV: You and your boyfriend surprise the sweetest soul you met two years ago in Bali, and he’s about to serve your table,” wrote the video title on the @amberkl__ account.

As the video focuses on the Balinese friend’s face, a warm smile immediately lights up his face, a clear indication that he also remembers the foreign tourists, despite the two-year gap.

This heartwarming video was flooded with comments, such as:

“He met so many tourists in the past two years, but he still remembers you both,” wrote account nrw9955.

“That’s not customer service anymore… it’s called FRIENDSHIP,” wrote @lim2eduardo.

From the comments, it was revealed that the place where the server in Bali known as Komang was located was Chiringuito Restaurant & Bar in Seminyak.

Undoubtedly, meeting kind-hearted people while on vacation is a beautiful experience that enhances the overall trip. It’s these friendships that make the vacation experience truly memorable.

Balinese people, in particular, are known to be very friendly and warm when welcoming guests. They love to interact with tourists and always try to provide the help and information needed.

Since Bali has always been a tourist destination, most of its citizens also speak English. Although they may need to be more fluent, they still communicate with foreign tourists.

When you are on vacation in Bali, do you also meet special Balinese people and make friends? We’d love to hear your heartwarming travel stories, so feel free to share them in the comments below.
