Bali is currently said to be experiencing overtourism, especially in the South Bali area, which includes Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, and Legian.
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) continues to intensify efforts to redistribute tourists by releasing the 3B tour package, namely Banyuwangi—West Bali—North Bali, on September 20, 2024.
In the tour package, Banyuwangi serves as a fascinating entry point, offering unique cultural experiences. The easternmost district of Java Island can be accessed via land and air from various cities in Java. Furthermore, tourists who want to visit North Bali and West Bali can use fast boats from Boom Beach in Banyuwangi to Lovina, with a stopping point at the Pemuteran Village pier, Buleleng Regency.
This tour package offers the convenience of infrastructure and the beauty of natural tourism combined with cultural tourism.
In North Bali, tourists are offered the breathtaking beauty of Tembok Village, Les Village, Lovina Beach, and Pemuteran Beach, located in the scenic Buleleng Regency.
While in Jembrana Regency, there are destinations for surfing at Medewi Beach, Dlod Berawah Beach, to Gilimanuk and West Bali National Park. While in Bayuwangi there are Ijen Crater, Alas Purwo, Teluk Ijo, De Djawatan, Tabuhan Island, Baluran, Sukamade, Kemiren Village, and Gombengsari Village.
“So this 3B tour package is to reduce the burden on southern Bali. As of today, the limitations are flights to Banyuwangi, East Java and fast boats that are being prepared by the government,” he said.
The 3B tour package targets 10 per cent of the number of tourists coming to Bali, both domestic and foreign tourists.
“Domestic tourists and foreign tourists, because there are also from China, from several other regions, entering from Surabaya to Bromo, Ijen, and continuing to Bali,” Sandiaga said.
How to order the 3B tour package
Tourists can order or purchase this 3B Tour Package through Indonesia.travel.id and five other Online Travel Agents: Traveloka, Autorin, Mister Aladin, Tiket.com, and Djalanin.com.
He explained that the 3B Tour Package is available in two types, with a choice of meeting points in Bali and Banyuwangi.
Among them are Ultimate Tourism Villages, a 5-day, 4-night tour package in two tourist villages in Banyuwangi, namely Osing Kemiran and Tamansari Tourism Villages, and two tourist villages in Bali, Pemuteran Tourism Village and Les Tourism Village, in Buleleng.
The second tour package is Geotourism Odyssey, a 6-day/5-night tour package in Bali Geopark, Batur Caldera, and Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi, accompanied by a Geotourism Guide.
