This is good news for Blackjacks because YG Entertainment officially announced an Asian tour for 2NE1 on the 2NE1 ASIA TOUR in 2024-2025.

In the poster uploaded on Instagram @yg_ent_official, Jakarta is one of the cities that the girl group will visit on its tour. 2NE1 is planned to perform in Jakarta on November 23, 2024, and the promoter who will be responsible for this event is managed by iMe Indonesia.

Jakarta is the second city announced by YG Entertainment for 2NE1’s highly anticipated comeback after Manila, Philippines. In total, about four other cities will be met and notified to fans in the near future.

Although the 2NE1 tour in Indonesia is certain, the location and price have still not been released, but detailed information will certainly be announced soon.

Previously in July 2024, YG Entertainment confirmed 2NE1 was confirmed to make a comeback and work with the agency again. The return of the 2nd generation KPop girl group is part of YG’s plan for 2024-2025.

2NE1’s comeback also celebrates the group’s 15th anniversary. The group is considered one of the first to ride the Hallyu wave to the international market.

YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk ensures that the upcoming 2NE1 concert will be special, especially when spent with fans or what is familiarly called Blackjack.

“The concert will resonate with those who grew up with 2NE1’s music, so share those memories,” he said in a video uploaded to YG Entertainment’s social media.

2NE1 officially debuted in May 2009 with the release of the single Fire. Since then, they have released many hit songs, such as “I Am the Best,” “Missing You,” “Come Back Home,” “Lonely,” “Ugly,” “I Love You,” and others.

Of course, K-pop fans in Indonesia warmly welcomed the news of their concert in Jakarta.
