Alan Walker Reveals Phone Number Online, Added to Family WhatsApp Group

Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker apparently has an Indonesian WhatsApp number to facilitate his interaction with fans in the country.

Interestingly, in just two hours since the Indonesian WhatsApp number was announced to the public through its upload on social media, more than 15,000 messages have been entered.

On May 14, 2024, through his accounts on Instagram @alanwalkermusic and X, previously Twitter, @IAmAlanWalker. He shared his contact number with fans from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore there.

He wrote: “🇮🇩 🇲🇾 🇸🇬 Walkers! I’ve set up local numbers so you can WhatsApp me – let me know if you are coming to my shows in June! +62 812 9367 9429 (Indonesia) / +60 19 464 8862 (Malaysia) / +65 80415585 (Singapore).”

Not long after, Walker posted another update: Someone had entered his number into their family Whatsapp group. While making a facepalm, he posted via his Instagram Story.

“OK, who added me to the family group chat?”

This drew laughter from Indonesian netizens, who said it could be the work of an overly prankish Indonesian.

Alan Walker deliberately shared a local WhatsApp account and invited fans to interact by sending direct messages.

The DJ, famous for his songs Faded and Alone, will hold a Walkerworld concert at Phantom PIK 2 Ground Park, Jakarta, on June 8, 2024.

The WhatsApp number will remain active until the Walkerworld show in Jakarta on June 8. So, yes, fans can exchange messages directly with him.
